CrossFit is functional fitness. Our training methods include a combination of gymnastics, weightlifting, plyometrics, running, rowing, climbing and anything else you can think of. Through careful programming, we design workouts performed at a high intensity to elicit powerful results in general fitness, fat loss, sports performance and improved health.

Bruce Roberts

(a.k.a. Brucimus)

I have been involved in some form of fitness my entire life. As a soccer player, runner, triathlete, and member of the military I have a diverse background as an athlete. In 2007 I was introduced to CrossFit and have never looked back. CrossFit offers the challenge, competiveness, and variety of sport that has become my passion. In January of 2010 I had my right ankle reconstructed. I used CrossFit to help recover from that surgery and in January of 2011 started competing in local CrossFit competitions. In 2011 I competed at the Southwest Regional Competition as a member of the CrossFit Utah Valley Affiliate Team. In November 2011 I finished 3rd in the Utah Masters Open (35-39). I can't wait to train and develop our own competitive athletes.

 I have been to the CrossFit Gymnastics Certification, the Olympic Lifting Certification and Seminar, the CrossFit Endurance Certification, the Movement and Mobility Seminar, and the CrossFit Level One Coaches Certification. I get a lot of satisfaction from introducing people to CrossFit and watching the life changing benefits that come with it.

 

 

Trevor Ashdown

Fitness and sport has always been a huge part of my life. Anything competitive I am drawn to. I’ve been involved in just about every sport imaginable at some point in my life. Baseball, golf, swimming, bodybuilding…you name it. After high school, I got my first real job as a certified personal trainer. I was soon managing all trainers within the Salt Lake City Gold’s Gyms. I became very familiar with your typical isolated movements and time spent on the treadmill kind of exercise you find at any ‘globo gym’. In 2010, a friend of mine told me to check out CrossFit. I had never heard of it before. I soon went to an introductory workout at a local affiliate and immediately fell in love. It was exactly what I had always been looking for. It provided the competitiveness that fuels me and a special camaraderie you can’t find elsewhere. I’m now a CrossFit Level 1 coach. I'll never get tired of training those that are willing to show up and put in the work required to achieve their goals.  I love what I do.
